I agree, probably without an attorney we are pretty much fuc$%^*&. I know they keep talking about a class action suit, but that still costs money...

I know I am in a different situation than you are, but I am taking your advice and NOT making an appointment, don't want them to know I am going to just show up.

I also agree with you that Chris is gone, I did talk to him too, and if he could answer I believe he would..

 

When your down there could please paint them in a corner on who's fault all this is.

If they say RCI (which I expect they will to ease tension) then I'd push the issue of why they don't file a lawsuit against RCI on the members behalf. Why should they take all the heat. If it was my business I'd be going after RCI.

Very interested in hearing back what they tell you.

I tried to read this thread but couldn't figure out what you were talking about at all.

I have to ask why would anyone buy a time share. It is so cheap to go there for a week, what is the point?

I have learned in my time , nothing is ever as good as it seems and nothing is for free, with few exceptions...

 

Short story is many members bought in and got millions of points that you can use for airfare, rci services, resorts, fees, etc. etc.. Was no limit on the amount of points you could use. Then about a four months ago or so a cap was put on strictly for Premier Members of 60K in points you could use at one time. A flight alone takes more then 60K in points so now your million of points are basically worthless for the most part. But if you have a RCI timeshare through another resort that resort doesn't have a 60K limit. So basically all the the Premier members are getting screwed. Each side blames each other and the members are stuck in the middle.
