    The AI rates have been one of the main grips I have had with premier for the last year. I have found tons of rates cheaper on the internet and if you take into concideration the value of the room, many rates availbe are lowe what we are paying for AI fees. Another question I would like to ask is Bert really out of the picture? Does he still co-own the time share? If he is just not around,but still calling the shots and if he still owns it, things will not change. Terry

    We have been getting calls from companys wanting to list our weeks for rent. They are "advertising" companys and want from 999$ to 1795$ for the advertising. Has anyone used these companys? The name they had me look up on the BBB site is different than what is on their search site.

    the pitch last spring to upgrade our membership really pushed listing with the cheaper internet sites, like redweek, or my resort network.

    anyone had any experience with this? Any success?

    Ask yourself this............

    Would you pay $1000 for a week to Temptations and then pay $90 a day per person or whatever for AI fee, and another $300 to $500 each for airfare???

    Math doesn't work on it. You'd have like $3,000 so invested in it. You can go anywhere and couple can book it for hundreds less.

    Don't waste your money on companies who will "list your weeks"... all they do is get you to pay a fee to list it on a website, where no one will purchase it. Unfortunately, there's even a lot of credible businesses who engage in this - including Century 21.

    Yes, it is true that I've taken the sites down, per a conversation with Claire. Knowing Claire personally for several years, I shared many of the frustrations over how the program was previously being managed, sold and serviced. I would not have removed the site if I did not have complete confidence Claire would do everything possible to try to make it right.

    I also think that the hotel has seen what mis-management of the program has led to...member dissatisfaction plus the weak economy has been very crippling for them. Removing Bert was likely not an easy task. It happened literally overnight, but Im sure with a lot of planning. Claire was brought back in, having left several months ago. I hear it was quite a surprise for Bert first to be booted, second to be replaced by Claire.

    I've exchanged several emails with the staff, who sound more upbeat than I've heard them sound in almost a year. They feel like the product can be made "good" again. Trust me, there's nothing worse than working there and being AFRAID to see members coming. I remember being there and being excited over seeing members coming back. Hopefully for those still there and for all of you, those days will return.

    FYI, the forums are still up - but removed from Google and hidden from public access... the front page was removed and replaced with a "under construction" page. My thoughts: Let's wait it out, give Claire a chance and see what happens. Personally, I believe in her...so hopefully the forums will start to be a positive thing instead of a watchdog site. I look forward to seeing what happens!!!

    I received several e-mails today regarding the potential lawsuit. Lawyers looking for money in case they lose. Your thoughts on this please, especially with the shake-up @ Premier :?:

    I got many of the same emails, we just got back last night, and we were told at check in that everything has changed and that the hotel had taken over Premier but we didn't go see them to hear all the details. I am just not interested in renewing or upgrading my contract and also I didn't know whether to believe them or not. I think I will wait, and see what happens with Claire. The "pitch" was that they recognize all the problems and are going to fix them. Time will tell.

    We received the email as well. However, I am going to allow Claire Wright make things right with our contract and complaints before I pursue any further action. So far Claire has been polite and direct just as she was before she left. I DO think we will eventually be able to sort out this mess with her help.

    Hopefully Claire and Premier will see that there is some compensation that needs to be taking care of to its members that have the massive points system. Time for them to bite the bullet of screwing over the members and RCI.

    Mole, are you going to return as well? Just curious if you have talked with Claire about certain pain in the A$$ members. Im hoping she is going to be contacting us shortly as mentioned in our email to her last week. WE will try and keep an open mind and listen to what she has to say or offer. I will "try" my best not to be such a pain in the arse. Its tough but I think I can do it! LOL
