Yeah we usually shop but it's either Expedia, Travelocity (now the same), direct or something else. We also found a hell of a deal this year on the 26th from CheapTickets as well. It was 600 less then others including Expedia for a week in June/July.

We always booked air + hotel; the first time it was a last minute thing and believe it or not the cheapest was Temptation official website (I dont know who they are linked with) cost us about 1350/pp {the day we decided on a hotel it was 1100} 3 days later when we booked for a week, flying less than 5 days after it jumped to about 1350/pp still the cheapest...second and third time it was with expedia paid almost the same as last year 1607/pp for 10 days but had to play around a lot. Flying from Montreal instead of Ottawa saved us about 400 bucks. :sunny:

No we did not bid. I just saw Alpha price go down a little. Then I saw Cheaptickets price and I had to purchase it. The only down side is I had to pay the total price when I made my reservations. The upside is my vacation is now paid for

We booked through Alpharooms for the end of May and they are currently showing a rate of a $155/night which is a really good price we think. Find another resort where you get a room and all the food and drink you want for that price!

We normally use Orbitz and book flights + hotel and get a great deal that way as well (using a coupon code if there's one available), but this time I had a Delta voucher so had to book flights separately (but the upside is they only cost us $200 out of pocket!) :)
