We live in a condo, and one of our upstair neighbors had a fire in
    an electrical outlet today

They had an AIR FRESHENER PLUG-IN, and the firemen said that was the cause.

No one was hurt, thankfully, and there was just a little damage to the wall and wallpaper.

But now there are signs up alerting everyone to the danger,

and we are not allowed to use any plug-ins anymore.

That's scary! I always forget to take them out once the liquid is gone and the container get's real hot.

Tasha, I just did that recently.

I had one in my laundry room, and it was really hot when I unplugged it!

Not worth the danger of a fire!

These things are one of the leading causes of fires. Being a SC licensed home inspector, we get information on cause and affect all the time. My advise is to stay away from these items and never EVER leave your drying running while not attended. The Leading cause of house fires = dryers!!
