calling home Pay as you SIM card We have a UK pay as you go sim card top up £20($30) each time we are away, that's our calls/texts sorted, we put it into my phone once at boarding gate, so surprise when we arrive at the country we are visiting. Once sorted at the airport(normally in transport to Hotel) we text our daughter to say we have arrived safely & then she ring or text other members of the family. We use Facebook to connect home too I'm sure free wifi is available in lobby at TTR. If we need to call home we arrange time etc on facebook too. most times we have £7/£10 remaining on the sim after our trips. another advantage only my children & airline know the number so no 4am calls(3 times in the passed) from my boss forgetting I'm away on leave!! 9 wks & counting for 7th TTR holiday
We have been known to forget to tell the children we have gone on holiday......(they are all grown ups!!! LOL xx) :daisy:
