Hello everyone! So I'm doing a research project on Hurricane Wilma. If anyone is available 4/9-4/13 just to answer a few questions in Spanish/English on video.... I would totally appreciate it! It would only take about 5-10 minutes. You will need to sign a release to be on video. It is only for a project for my Earth Science college class. The topic for my paper/presentations is "Natural Disaster of choice" and I chose Hurricane Wilma. Thanks guys <3
I don't understand your question fully - BUT I was there for 2 weeks immediately following Hurricane Wilma to help out the best I could - I was able to feed 40 families who lived in the jungle in the area called "El Milagro"........and also took over 200 pics, as well!! I am currently living in the Boston area and want to know if you want the person to be interviewed - in Cancun..??? Or can it be done via computer connection? Ken
It's okay. It's not necessarily a question.... I just need a volunteer. I don't think a computer/skype chat would work. I'm doing a little cheapy video recording in Cancun. It's just for a college project.
OK..........Just thought that I would try to help you out....!!! If you want - I use yahoo messenger to chat with cam.....too..... my name there is: v8eyedoc@yahoo.com if you want to chat at all Ken
I lived thru it, live and in color. Totaled my car. We were pretty much stranded for a couple of days after the storm due to high water. Cancun Fun and I could share some nice stories. We really roughed it for a while.
It actually sounds very interesting, and I would like to ask if anyone knows of a professionally done documentary on this topic, the kind that shows like "60 Minutes" do. My first visit EVER to Cancun was in April after Wilma, and while I was amazed at the lavishness of the HZ, I also saw - even those 6+ months after Wilma - mucho damage.
I was in Cancun immediately following hurricane Wilma - if anyone is interested - I have pics posted on my album..... Just click on my name to go there..........
Cancun Fun and I were interviewed by CNN after a later hurricane but her hair did not look right so she did not want to do it.
