Re landmarks There is a huge telephone mast fairly close to Walmart. If you get off the bus basically you would head to your left (compared to the direction of travel of the bus), you should see the mast and Walmart is before it. Most times I've got the bus that way (which isn't very often) the driver has called out "Walmart!", sit near the front of the bus so you hear him.
Completely agree, but we couldn't actually see Walmart from the bus. It was a nice lady behind us that tapped us on the shoulder and said are you looking for walmart. We said yes. She responded that it was 5 or 6 blocks back that way!! Not cool especially since we had turned!! We actually haven't been back to Walmart since.
maybe just us coz we're from NYC and never stepped foot in a walmart...way we figure it, is we're on vacation, so we're gonna be spending money left and right...not there to find deals...oh well, i just found this post kinda funny
I don't think it's always about saving money. Sometimes it is the neccessity of buying something you forgot to bring, something that got lost or ruined, or possibly something you didn't want to lug from home. Several times we have had photos developed on our last day to save the embarassment of naked photos being done at our local photo shop. Wal-Mart is open 24 hrs so these trips can be done early in the morning before anything starts happening @ the resort. You can go there & be back in an hour. And yes , some people are counting there pennies even on vacation  Scott
