    Unlike Mexico, we don't close the liquor stores on election day. That could explain the last four national elections. Does Northern Ireland also "abstain" on election day?

    Well they check you for booze on the way in...If you haven't got any they give you some!!! Things have calmed for the last 10 years...but the same loony tunes are still running the place!!! And if that doesn't work, we've still got Tony Blair to fall back on :roll:

    When is he finally stepping down? He's been in office longer than Bush, right?

    Ten years dude;he quits in October...Then we can look forward to his wonderful right hand man Gordon Brown...He's as popular as a fart in a spacesuit!!!

    Who are the likely candidates for Prime Minister the next election? Over here everything's a mess. The Democrats have a lot of high-exposure candidates. The Republicans' front-runner is kind of a social leftist but also a fiscal/law enforcement tough.

    Basically you've got David Cameron of the Conservative Party:Seen as the guy who'll put them back on top-but probably put us back to the dark ages economically!!!

    Gordon brown will succeed Blair though there may be a few others who will throw their hat in the ring before that...as I said he's not popular.Still think Labour will run the place as the Conservatives under Maggie thatcher F**ked the country right up last time!!!
