Within walking distance is the Playboy Casino(3min)...the Pirate Ships(5 min)....the Observation Tower(5 min)...the Ferry Terminal to La Isla(15 min).....the Rio Steakhouse(1min).....OxxO(like 7-11)(2min)....just remember...everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time..LOL
No offense taken, I have tried the bus system in 4 different Countries and I just simply prefer taxis....especially if I am on vacation. A bus is a bus, I am not referrring to comfort, AC, seats, whatever...I am referring to time....I am on vacation...do I see value on paying a dollar for the bus and spending 40 mins getting to my destination or in paying $12 dollars and getting to my destination in 10 to 15.... I dont take buses no even here in NJ/NY...I just don't...to many stops....
Scoop, We will be there the same time. The RIO restaruant across the street is very good. There is also a small drug store across the street for some basic stuff. Most likely me and a few other femals that we go with will take a trip to the shopping areas. the ladies shop and the guys stay at the resort and hang out. feel free to leave the hubby and join us ladies on a shopping day...just a few hours..and yes we always take the bus. We also take it to walmart when needed.
Walmart I ALWAYS TAKE THE BUS TO WALMART ..THE PROBLEM IS GETTING BACK ON THE BUS WITH 20 BOTTLES OF VODKA AND 3 BARRELS OF BEER LOL.. I HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO GET A TAXI BACK TO THE RESORT..:musik026:
The bus system in Cancun is by far the easiest bus system in the world to navigate. You basically just want to go up the street or down the street, there are no two other ways around it. And the taxis seem to raise their prices every year whereas the bus remains consistent in their price. :ladiesman1:
