When it comes down to it, I am not a vodka snob. My favorite right now is Titos (from Texas) I will drink Skye or Smirnoff if its the only booze available. To me, the difference between those brands and, say, Absolute or GG is 1. To the "cheaper" brands I will add club soda and a splash of cranberry juice and 2. I will have probably have a hangover. For some reason, Titos, GG, etc don't give me a headachey hangover but the others do.

Tito's is really good vodka! Try Deep Eddys, also from Texas and it's of similar quality!

yup, and include Ketel One.. I might have also saw Stoli too??

It was my first day back in MX and seeing the 220 pesos I though that Absolut was expensive.. the bus ride will definitely be a reoccurring trip. Erin thinks we should just hand a bottle to the bar tenders and ask they leave in cooler for our drinks thru the night. My issue is getting them to make strong drinks, it is always tough to stop them at just enough cranberry to barely change the color of the drink, they always want to fill to top with mixers

I will have to check to see if my local carries it!

I was thinking about asking a sexy poor bartender if they would use my bottle to make drinks. Does that seem too "uppity?" Of course, we would compensate him for the trouble. But, it does get busy back there and can you imagine if more than just a few people did that? It could get crazy! (Or, more crazier I guess) lol
