me and my friends have paid up to $100 just for the table, not including admission and tips. i was very fond of laboom because they always gave me a great table, they had the best set up and they flooded us with drinks all night. hector the shot connector was our waiter every time and he was the best.
Not true in most resorts. Sounds like the staff where you stayed weren't very doing at following through because in 99% of the resorts the entertainment staff always has a table reserved for the guets they take.
mabye so, but ive stayed in cancun 3 times at 3 different hotels with 3 different entertainment staffs and none ever promised a table on any of the 21 nights i was there. nor have i ever heard of anyone else being promised a table, especially during spring break when there are literally thousands of breakers, most of whom are buying their tickets through their hotel's entertainment staff. a hotel like the oasis will have over 2500 breakers at their hotel alone, and say at least 75% buy their tickets from the staff there. thats over 1800 people going to the same place that night and your telling me that they promise each group their own table. there isn't even that many tables in a club. say they are going to daddy o's that night, and each group is made up of 6 people (which is a very high number) thats at least 300 tables. 300 tables don't even exist at daddy o's. and thats only from the oasis. simple math disproves what you say. ive paid for tables every night i was there and on some nights it wasn't even possible to do that.
I was talking about what the entertainment staff does in general. The rules are different for Spring Break with just about everything in Cancun.
Yea in bulldogs we had a bunch of tables for our hotel reserved all in with the band price So you can get it in alot of places i hear
In the 5 times I have been to cancun, and every year in a different resort. They have ALWAYS got me a table once inside the club... I always go with the entertainment staff from the hotel, and some years the service I got while inside was stright out VIP style. Just curious Philly what hotels have you stayed at?
I think certain animation teams (entertainment teams) have a bit more pull with certain clubs. Each year they actually have a competition between the teams to see which are the best...and worse...in various categories from the way they dress to how their guests are treated at the clubs. Some do more than others.
Id suggest asking when you arrive! if not, when you get to the club, each one of you and your friends pitch in 5 or 10 buckets, and tell the waiter you want a vip table, in most cases they will let you pay extra and get one! Plus you get your own waiter!
