I'm staying at the MGM Grand. It's Las Vegas Bikefest (lasvegasbikefest.com) next week... just coincidence, but should make the downtown area pretty crazy and i'm sure there will be plenty of bikes up and down the strip. I won't have a rental car... and I don't plan on being in any condition to drive Thanks much for all the info! Every bit helps!
And conveniently, Hooters Hotel & Casino is right next door to the MGM Grand, on Tropicana Blvd. http://www.hooterscasinohotel.com/
From my visit there in April of 05, I would just say to bring a lot of money and get ready to get the minimal amount of sleep.
Next time I'll bring all the cash. This time I'm just gonna take it all in. Bikefest should be interesting.. check out the pictures on the website: http://www.lasvegasbikefest.com bikini contest and such... can you say professionals?
