We will be getting to Cancun on Valentine's Day. What would you all recommend for something romantic to do there?

We went to the HABICHUELA sp? downtown and it is really a very romantic place for dinner. My wife and I went here for dinner and if you are seated outside in the garden. WOW. And they wont take your picture for 10 dollars. But they will take a picture of you with your own camera for nothing. It was reasonably priced too.

Here is a link to their web site

I enjoyed Bogart's which is attached to the Krystal Hotel. Great atmosphere, great food (everything that we ordered was prepared in part tableside, including the flaming Mayan coffee, Caesar salad, chateau briand, spritzer, etc). A card magician moved from table to table doing some tricks for tips. The wait staff was excellent, standing at a distance out of sight of my new bride, but quick to respond to a raised index finger or eyebrow. Menus given to the ladies supposedly do not reflect the prices...although...we weren't given those menus when we were there.

The BF and I also had a romantic dinner at La Habichuela. Very nice. B*tchin' margaritas too!

We had our pictures taken by the guy selling them there and he gave us a nice 5 X 7 print in a very cool frame for 220 pesos. Well, we got two, one for each of us.

Followed up by live music at Los 4 Elementos for an awesome evening!
