Vacation Ruined.. almost!

    Well, it's officially been ruined. My parents have had my passport for the past 6 months. My Father accidentally put it into his Safe Deposit Box from when we went to Europe together over a year ago with his and my Mothers. Three weeks ago, I asked him to get the passport out, and every 3 days I reminded him to remove it. Because I am an airline employee and can fly anywhere, He sarcastically joked around saying "Where are you going?, I'm not lettin' you go!". So here we are, the day before I'm supposed to leave, and the PNC branch that he has his box at is closed until Monday Morning.. UN F'ING BELIEVABLE... SO either way you look at it.. I lose 1.5 days. I worked so hard to trade days with people at work, and to lock in the rate at Temptations for the entire stay.. and now I'm losing a day and a half.

    dont think of it as ruined! just deleyed, you will still get there and have a blast when you are there. you will just have to drink more and faster to make up for lost time. But you will still be going! i know it sucks but stay positive! or at least try to.

    Thanks, I am really frustrated about it.. He joked around numerous times and then screwed up so bad by waiting until the last minute. Ruining MY vacation. Now I have a full day off with nothing to do except sit at home and wait for the bank to open at 9AM on Monday..

    Well hang in there! Look on the bright side you are alot closer to getting there then we are! Hope it all works out for you and have a BLAST!

    yeah, I agree. I hate to sound mean, but if you're old enough to go to Temptations, you're old enough to be responsible for your own passport...

    He had the passport since our last trip without telling me. I asked him for it.. it was in HIS SAFE DEPOSIT BOX. Was I supposed to take it?
