The 1.6 is activity level dependent. My workouts are brutal, so its an easy 700 calories and my job is moderatly active as is the rest of my life. SO I need a bit more food. You could in theory run around 1.2 or so and see what happens.
When I have to, I can make it 24 hours without eating. But I can't see myself going 32. At 24 hours (which I've done a few time for various reasons-none of which were health related), I'll eat a car tire. I'm trying to drop 30 by the trip (25 days) but at my current rate it'll be more like 24 at best case. Which really won't be very noticeable.
This is a super simple basil calculation, does not get into macros. My macro split is 30% protein, 10% carbs, and 60% fat. 1142/380/2284 calories in grams 285/95/253 My lean body mass is roughly 204 ish. I would have to double check my last dexascan. Current body weight at last weighing is 238.5. I was 233 in 2014 but im way bigger now. Im looking forward to the picture comparisn from back then. My avatar has no definition hehe.
I have been dieting since October 21st. I was going to add in 100 grams of carbs more a day around Feb 6, depending on how lean I am. We will see. Im sure ill get all the carbs I need on vacation hehe.
Even in my heyday, when I was benching 405 for reps, I was at most 1.0. Any time I've been looking to drop poundage, I've been closer to .8 These days, my work outs are moderate on the activity level. 60 minutes of weights 3-5 times per week. And 20 mins of plain old fashioned cardio every day possible depending on if I get up on time. (I know the jury is out on cardio, but I do it for several reasons including giving the ticker a workout). But I have an office job which doesn't help.
I havent done any cardio since 2010 pre contest hehe. I may go back to it, would rather control what I eat than do steady state cardio. We do sled pushes from time to time. Workout wise im an hour a day 5 days a week. Pre contest 14+ times a week. Not sure ill ever go back there though.
Yeah, I hope they have sugar free Red Bull.... 1. try to avoid liquid calories 2. I think it actually tastes better
Bulking until March first. Trying to gain. 4000 calories a day and 200 grams of protein. High weights lower reps less cardio. Then March through June 22nd it's time to shred.2000 calories lower weights, higher reps and ass load of cardio. Workout 6 days rest 1 Now this is my first time with the formula. Successful so far. Gained 32 lbs.mostly muscle some fat but that what the shedding part is for If anyone sees error in my plan please feel my in. I'll take any advantage I can get
The first few days of it were a bit rough, lol....man...if I drop 10 in the next few weeks before the trip I will be stoked, let alone 20+.....obviously it's all relative though, I am definately not of the stature u gentleman are.....one day though, im workin on it,
It all depends on your body type, you look great now from the avatar. Size takes time, lots of time, and food hehe. I cant do 6 on, the workouts are too brutal, even with chemical help. A trainer friend of mine said less intense and twice a week, but I wont try that till after mexico. 3 on, 1 off, 2 on 1 off. We will see. I have to make some choices soon, at 43 its a lot harder on my old man frame.
