The gym is great but we found it difficult to focus on working out

    Too many distractions

The distractions give me motivation. Its why I walk across the street every day, even when its -30 instead of using the work gym that is like 40 feet away.

Awesome! I’ll only run low low carbs the last month. Started at 232 at about 12%. Trying to be 205ish when we get there. Currently sitting at 216.7. I will definitely use the gym there. I can’t function if I don’t lol.

I personally don't believe in cardio.. But heavy lifting on intermittent fasting.. Yes!

Last few weeks for me. The amount gained from fasted vs non fasted is pretty small.

I mainly do it because my dog needs to go out in the morning and I exercise him then too.

With my clients I tell them to do cardio when it fits into your life. If not you wont do it at all. The reality is your burning some of what you take in for the day which puts you in a deficit, or should.
Me? I don't do cardio unless its contest prep. Usually its unnecessary if your diet is on track and your not over eating.

In my opinion the difference between fasted and non fasted cardio is minimal at best, but that's based on my body and the results I have seen. It may work for you, who knows unless you try it :)

Keto with intermittent fasting works best for me.

Mostly you have to experiment with what is going to work for your body.

I get cardio every busy day I work! I carry approximately 4-8 lbs up and down stairs for hours on end!
I eat healthy foods but I also eat carbs and my favourite -the worst- French fries and chips a few days a week. And I like to drink. I will cut down on my fry intake and do some power yoga in the new year in the 6 weeks leading up to the trip. I don’t know how you no carb people do it!
