Ya gotta be kiddin me. We have gone for the last 15+ years and even though spring break is higher 800pp??????? Has anyone from MSP checked into air during the mid part of march? We go twice per year...and spring break is for our college son. We have gone since he was very young...tradition so to speak. But OMG I cannot believe the airfare. Looks like a June trip only this year.
Check into SunCountry's VIP club, I believe it is now called U fly rewards plus. We have been flying Sun Country for the past couple of years and have had no problems. If you join the club your price for airfare will be about half of what you are now seeing. We have belonged to the club for three years now and have saved a bundle just flying to Cancun. We just booked for March 08. Good luck!
I just did a search for peak week (march 8-15) from MSP to CUN and found the airfares to be around $450-$520 r/t. try Northwest. where do you do your flight searches?
mlt I just looked at MLT Worry Free. Air for 2 people, $875-$1015 Wed to Wed travel. Air only. Less if you book air and hotel. We use them out of Denver all the time Jimmy

Thanks guys. However, honestly; been goin for years. Cannot get a flight from MSP for less. I will look into the VIP club. We are travelling March 15 for 7 nights. Any secrets appreciated. :lol:
I should say: We are searching MLT worry free vacations Sun Country Northwest Maybe it is just this particular week... dunno. Very upset.
I agree if you cant move to a different day your going to pay the price on that one....leaving on wed at 400 or leaving on saturday at 800+....i'd definetely re-arrange my schedule!!!
Unfortunately, for our first trip of the year to cancun it is ALWAYS our son's spring break. Not much room for flexibility because of his schedule. Our summer and fall trip are always more flexible. We did find some airfare at 601 pp that we are considering. Thanks everyone!
