We go down to the Sexy Pool with nothing but the room key, the wife's bathroom shoes, and the first (and last) tip of the day. You put your wife's bathroom shoes next to a chair close to the Sexy Pool bathroom, you put your room key in your swim trunks, and you give that $20 bill to the Sexy Pool bartender whom you think will serve you the best throughout the day. Order drinks from said person until 5:00pm, and all will be good.
We usually just take a small over shoulder bag to the pool & leave it under the sun lounger with our money, sunscreen and cigarettes, does the job just fine, you can also get little water prrof/air tight boxes with string that go around your neck but they just get in the way! Lol
I would stop at the bar for my first drink and drop a $20 on the bar and we were good for the day. The bartenders were very appreciative and I never waited for a drink.
Wet bills on the wife's chest usually work pretty good too. At least it did for Dr. Jane and Amanda. They won't take them off, but it helps grab their attention when there's a line.
I didn't tip the first day so I could scout for the best bartenders. Having been one for a long time I know what to look for. I then discretely tipped him 200 pesos. Called him by his name and made eye contact, as if to say "you're my guy". Introduced myself and never had an issue with the bar after that. They do split the tips. On the next day my guy wasn't there so I gave my new guy 100 pesos and he put it in with the others. It's better to make sure they see you put the money in the jar, and don't forget to get their name and introduce yourself. They all have really great attitudes and can be hilarious! They work their butts off for us and deserve extra. My personal favs are Freddie, Victor, Adan, Leonardo, and Carlos.
