If you don't think hockey is serious come on up and take in a Leafs/Sabres game sometime. Hockey here on the border is what makes winter fun....well, sorta! Just checked the TV in our waiting room and see it is 6-0 US at the end of one. That's encouraging for a gold medal showdown.
as a hockey player myself, I thank you for the kind words On that note....what a dominant game today by the boys from the states, looking unstoppable going into the gold medal game. Now, who do we want to face? We've already beaten Canada, but they are clearly the more talented team, whereas the Slovaks, should THEY win and advance to the Gold medal game, would have already taken out TWO of the most dominant teams in the tournament (Sweden and Canada). Both teams are scary, and I think in a Gold Medal game, in Canada, the fellows to the north would be a much more difficult game for the US to win. Of course, the entire world is anticipating the US/Canada showdown, but we shall see. RYAN MILLER FOR PRESIDENT!!!
