Airfare only? I just looked for the last week of Feb and it was almost $1200 through funjet for airfare only. Funjet doesn't have any airplanes, they charter everything out through multiple companies.
Well I hope someone does a direct flight to Cancun. The year before last we connected because it was $700 cheaper and it just sucked. I vowed to never do it again. Took us 8 hrs to get there. Basically a whole vacation day.
You would go nuts from Canada then. From Calgary, Edmonton, Regina or Saskatoon they are all basically 6 or so hours and that's non stop!
That was the first time that I ever connected to Cancun, the direct flight is only like 3 hrs so while I was saving money, I knew in the back of my mind that I could have been drinking in the sexy pool instead of boarding another plane to get there and it drove me crazy!!

We booked our return trip for next March through Apple Vacations. They have us on a non-stop flight through Frontier. Flight number 8512 and return number 8513.
