All this talk got me all pumped up for the trip and also got me worrying about being behind when we arrive. So I started thinking how can I start the party earlier without being at Temptation yet? The only logical thing I could think of was upgrading to first class for the flight down. So now I am poor but at least we will be intoxicated when we arrive. They better serve all you can drink red bull vodkas on USAirways!!!
Got it. So I do my significant other, on a lounge chair I grab from the quiet pool and bring to the Sexy pool bar all while drinking a red bull vodka.
When you get out of the airport where the cabs are there is a stand for buying some beer too. My sweetie always buys a couple for the ride to the hotel. artyhorn:
you dont even have to upgrade, you can pack the mini vodkas, the little one shot bottles, they fit under the security regulations, I just flew to daytona over the past weekend and had layovers, so I brought a few with me, they sell redbull at the airport, so that you can obviously bring on board with ya too
Wow. I just assumed the little shot bottles would not pass security regulations. Where were you last night when I wasted several hundred dollars? Actually in Philly we have had tons of flights cancelled over the last several weeks and I was reading how the airlines were taking care of their frequent flyer and first class customers first and the poor regular tixs were taking up to a WEEK to be rescheduled after 2 days of cancellations. I am sure it is unlikely that happens again next week but after waiting three years for this trip I am covering all angles. Hope daytona was fun despite the lengthy delays (maybe that just gave you more time to tailgate?)
Yeah the containers have to be under 3oz or something like that, they explained it to me when i tried to bring some budweiser by accident, I forgot i had it in my bag haha...after all the drinking in daytona Im surprised I remembered my airline tickets haha Daytona was great thanks, way way to cold, i thought it would be a great way to practice for Cancun in April, but it was 45 degrees and windy and we were on the top row, so damn cold.... the red flag delays were ok until the last delay, RAN OUT OF BEER haha...
Jim...rule #1 at a race is: NEVER run out of beer!! (I`m a regular @ Dover & was at Bristol until last year. Now we travel instead!!)
