I think that question will be best answered tomorrow. To answer it now would be nothing but specualtion.
Here's CancunCanuck's advice as posted on the blog: 1. If you have a tripped booked to Cancun that departs in the next three days, I would investigate your options for changing or cancelling. If it’s more than three days away, I would hold on and stay in “wait and see” mode. If you are traveling further south towards Tulum, I think you’ve got more to worry about. At this point my best advice is if you have plans in the next seven days to Tulum or points south, change them. We really won’t know what sort of clean up is necessary until after tomorrow.

SVTcobra I think I am feeling your pain or your anxiousness. I am suppose to fly out Wednesday as well but at this point I am afraid there will be no beach to enjoy. I am very very optimistic and would like the beach to be there but just like you, I am very interested in all the opinions I can get. I guess gotta wait till tomorrow, please please give me updates on the weather over there. Much appreciated............
If you have until Wed to decide then I'd wait to. But I think I would head Kelly's advice if you're thinking of actually going down there on Wednesday.
One thing that you should consider is that if they lose power or the phone lines go down it may be Wed before you really know how it is from anyone down there.
