We have been to BBG around 7 times, we usually go during the easter holidays. We have not yet been since it has become Temptations but are due to arrive 30th July for 7 days. We usually spend our daytime at the Quiet pool and sometimes go to the sexy pool to watch the games. Could someone update us with which barman are working at which bar this year I know the move around. Have all the rooms been refurbished or are the still working on some ? Is there a new texmex restaurant ? any other changes to tell us about ? Can't ait to get there Steve and Karen
Rooms are all done. You now get premiun booze and also have stocked fridge in the room. Lobby has been redone, Las Marg. is now Patty O's and redone, new Nice Shoes in a different location (behind the Alternative bar), old nice shoes is the TexMex resturant open for lunch through the night for snacks, new cigar lounge/bar where the old theater use to be, gym all redone, and many more minor updates like paint, flooring, etc. etc.. Same great place with a new face.
nmarcks, thanks for the update, all sounds great, I have seen pics of Paty O's on trip advisor. Getting excited now and can't wait for 3 weeks to pass by. I have read that Alfredo is working the quiet pool bar, who are the regular barman at Paty O's ? Oliver was always good for a laugh. Herbert was at quiet pool for several years when we have been in the past. :lol: :lol:
