Ok...I get it. I read it as 13 weeks each year, and I'm thinking Wow! With my company we have to use our three weeks by December 31st, or we lose it. It would seem reasonable that if the company was going to change the carry over policy for vacation time, they'd give you a timetable to use what you had accrued. That does suck!
Yeah, I get 22 PTO days per year and we can roll over up to 7 into the next year but that is not cumulative. From a legal standpoint, I find it hard to believe that a company can just change their policy on that and not give you some options. I would be seriously tempted to resign and cash out all of that time before it goes away.
They have/ had a cash in every year in Aug they waited till after that to anounce it, and it don't effect the branch in California Have a couple meetings next week to discuss it, I already talked to Dept Of Labor
It is official, we will be part of the May-hem group. Just confirmed reservations May 15th-22nd in a jacuzzi suite, hint hint.. We look forward to meeting alot of new people. We were there in September and had a blast. We notice alot of the group will be there more in the begining of May, look us up if you will be there around the same time..
We may have crossed paths for 2 days in the sexy pool. We left on the 20th What a sad and terrible morning "Steve get up, they are picking us up in 15 minutes and we still have to pack!" Looks like we'll be MayHEM-ing again this year, dates TBA, but hopefully we'll overlap with Guido & Blondie, so that this Goon & Blondie over here can do some partying...
