We JUST returned from GP. WE got bumped from TTR due to overbooking and while we were at GP, they graciously asked us to move to their sister Resort with "a luxury spa package.....yady yady yada". We declined because said Resort was 3 hours south. We thought it was so we could experience this luxury resort and maybe buy in but we found out, they seriously overbooked and had no rooms for several new arrivals. Lots of pissed off people around there last week. I hope you CAN bring the party. It can be fun if you can get the people going. It was a challenge for the staff. The beach is GODAMNED GORGEOUS! The food......well, it seemed like they were trying to obviously cut costs but it wasn't awful. It just wasn't, good. I didn't starve but I just can't complement it. I guess I was hoping for a bit more Americanised. (Sounds snobby but sometimes you just want things to taste the way you're used to them tasting.). I don't want REAL carrot slices on my carrot cake. That's just not the way it's supposed to be. I intend to write the resort a letter about some of the things that I really think need improvement. I will not return due to some of these issues and I think they should know rather than write a terrible review on Tripadvisor. All in all, a week in Cancun anywhere with a beautiful beach, clean sheets, cold AC and a drink in my hand is better than a week at work.
I was just reading the GP Facebook page and in response to your "walk into the lobby actively taking part in a threesome." comment.. I had read some comments that lead me to believe that some GP regulars were concerned about the TTR people.. then I get down a bit and someone is having TTR Refugee wristbands made that say "party naked, bitches" LOL that made me laugh so much I am crying.. maybe the party naked bitches comment is what has them a tad concerned..LOL We will probably end up at GP next April and I am going to suggest to all the men, lets grow 70's mustaches and wear open shirts with gold chains just to scare the GP regulars..
This is almost enough to make me reopen a facebook page. oh wait... The reason I deleted my account was people like that... Never mind Ill will just. The HnH crew look like they are deciding on oasis sens and I will follow. I know good party when I see it
