United States To Require Covid Test To Return To Us..

Yes, I did. Was there in late July and caught it there. No big deal for me just a cold

 

We have been twice since September, I had Covid in July so doubt I would catch it again. My husband tested negative for antibodies, but hard to believe he has not had it at some point. So we felt comfortable going. We do know a few people that came back from Mexico from our September trip with Covid, but they had also been to Desire so not sure how they caught it.

 

Hopefully someone can explain the reasoning by this new testing requirements for Vacations because it has been my understanding that it take 5 days plus after exposure to the virus for accurate readings. ie show a positive test. ( I could be totally wrong however since information changes by the second) Therefore trips less than 5 days which show positive means you had the virus prior to travel for a VACATION.

Just got my 2nd shot Tuesday. You definitely feel your body building those antibodies after that 2nd shot.

 

We changed our weekend trip from Jan 29th to next weekend so we can dodge the testing.

But one will never know for sure because of the variance on incubation period.

 

Where does one stay if you test positive while at TTR??

 

I'm not sure if this will work for Canadians. We require a PCR test. Things are looking up though.
