How did you get into town from the resort and back again, do they have excursions, do you hire a cab, how much? Thanks
35 bucks for a cab each way 15 /person for the shuttle return trip/ person a few bucks fore the bus but takes 1.5 hours to get there We opted for the shuttle which leaves across the road from the Solaris resort about a 5 min walk from TTR. Very organized but you have to tell them when you are returning or they wont have room and then you loose your ticket if you miss it
I forgot to mention all excursions leave from Cabo san lucas 30 min drive and can be booked through the resort at what seemed like a reasonable price ... 59 usd for a catamaran tour to the arches, cruise to lovers beach, 50 min of snorkling, small lunch on the boat, and back to the marina... oh and of course all you can drink
I definitely like cancun better than cabos......We went to Cabo two weeks after the change from Desire to temptations last year. The rooms are almost the same, the beds be the pool are comfortable and the atmosphere is alot more laid back. The entertainment was very unorganized and the bar was pretty good until about 1:00am then it totally died but the bar went all night and they served food in there a 2:00am. The gym was very good and had a great view of the ocean and the beach was huge but, the waves didn`t even let you get near the water. They were close to 12 feet high when we were there. All in all we had a blast at teh hot tub at night and party hard every night. And yes there was sex happening upstairs by the hot tub and sometimes in it......yuck especially thinking that we were in the tub at the time. Anyways I still would like to try it out but then there are so many places in the world I want to see too. Also it is chilly at night and you need a sweater if you go in March.
