Hi all, I'm not really new to the forum just been lurking for some time reading and stuff. Me and some mates should be coming down for spring break. The date we have decided upon is the 9th march till the 23rd march.

The price per person is going to be £1206.58. That's for the flight from the UK (Birmingham) and for staying at oasis Cancun hotel. what do you guys recon? any good?
The thing is what does it mean when it says the rooms a double? does it mean two singles beds or just 1 double bed? We wanted to do it 2 to a room. What do you guys do normally?

    Thanks for any response. :D

you certainly picked the best party hotel for spring break. Its nonstop madness at the Oasis, but what you gain in fun you pretty much lose in every other category. The food sucks (some people like it), the rooms that Ive stayed in were gross and theres just way too many other problems. Now, with that in mind, who goes on spring break to sit in their room anyway right? Youre gonna have a blast. The double room sleeps up to 4 people with 2 beds

lol. Yea not really gonna be in the rooms unless i gotta sleep lol. So there's two beds. That's should be cool then didn't want to share with my mate

Just wondering, I've been lookin at the otbeach site for the prices an stuff. So just wondering if you know anything about the cost of adding people to your room when you get there?
For example a trip for just me would cost £1548.16 in the oasis Cancun + flight (£599 its already included in the £1548.16), but for 2 of us its £1206.58 each. So couldn't i just book it for 1 and then my mate just buy the flight there for £599 and i could half the cost of the room with him? Because the room is still a double and it would work out cheaper (about £1073.58 each instead).

    Thaks for any response. :D

Drunk people and people who don't know there are better food than dinning hall food in this world.

haha Smithy! i love it, permission to hurt anyone wearing this in cancun??

Hi John, not sure the hotels will let you split cost between you.
They usually add a massive suppliment on to the room depending how
many people occupy the room because its all inclusive they have to be a bit strict about it.
You can contact the hotel directly though and they might help.
Not sure bout Oasis but usually you can get 3 in a room? (with a bed each of course!)

and yeah no T-shirts! Johno, Deano, Danny Boy, Numba 1 Playa, Ladeez man, the list goes on... hahahaha

Mate, that Thomson's flight from Birmingham is a nightmare. The runway at Brum isnt long enough to take off with a full load of fuel so has to land at Manchester, get refuelled ( they often have to change the crew here as well !! ) get back in the q and take off, I did it last year when travelling to Cancun and we were in Manchester for over two hours making it 13.5 hours on that plane in total. If it wasnt for the copius amounts of lager, vodka minatures and champagene I'd have gone f*cking nuts

Try for flights from Firstchoice or Thomas Cooks, maybe a couple of bob more but worth it in my opion.

    Have fun .

    Ian
