Hi, cause its my first time in Cancun i want to know, what are good tips there. For example hotel staff, cleaner, bar, inlet in clubs and so on? Has anyone experience with that? I will have a good time there so i think i need tips In germany normaly there are no tips for cleaners and so on.
Normally people tip bar tenders, waitress, hotel staff, and eveyone, but you dont have to at the hotel, except where tip its not included, ask if it is. Out of the hotel you must leave a tip at restaurants/bars, but not for everyone, just leave at least the 15% or 20% of your total consume at the table. xoxox

We hardly ever allowed the cleaning crew in our rooms, but if they do 50 pesos is plenty. The bar staff and such is different for everyone. Even though we always stay all inclusive, I always start off with tipping 200 pesos(20usd), most of them need the tips to make a living as their hourly rates dont cut it! So, I tend to tip better than average, especially for good service!
So by tipping big right off the bat and beginning everyday can you typically expect stronger drinks, double fisting, etc.? I was planning on finding a guy working all week and giving a twenty at the beginning and somewhere in there everyday.

Ask andrew, last year I was.......... drunk........ and found(borrowed) a HUGE emty blastic pitcher type thing. I walked up to the bar, he filled it 75% with rum and then pinapple juice.......... I had to have 2 hands to carry this thing as it was HUGE and full of alcohol. Had it in the pull and it was nuts, he didnt even hesitate to fill it for me, was pretty fun watching everyones faces seeing me get it filled with alcohol!
I was considering bringing a bigger plastic glass to cut back on trips and just tip the guy big to fill it up. I didn't think they'd care. Good to know.
You only tipped 50peso to clean your room? I'd tip at least 10peso for each used condom laying around and 30peso for each pool of blood.
