We always use the safe for valuables also. No point in tempting people when it's that easy & nobody to do anything about it.
Us also, if anything we get a note from housekeeping to please put our valuables away as they are not responsible if something could go missing. Never in all of our trips has anything gone missing..
Sorry about you're situation. We have not had anything stolen either. With that said, you should have started you're own thread and not go on a TR. Sorta out of line IMHO. BTW, to Tweb, great TR. And no you were not long winded, loved reading it.
I seem to recall one time I left some bills & change on the table as a tip.. Came back later and it was still there... So I took the maid name sign that is left in the room and put it on top of the bills so she would know it was for her. :aktion033:
We have left out tablets to Jewelry and cash on accident, we try top use the safe as much as possible to not even tempt someone. Nothing has ever been taken in three trips totaling about 24 days total. We did the photo shoot for the last trip and it was an amazing experience. Cd had every photo. Sorry you had a bad experience.
We've left money like that also.. never touched.. only money she would take is if we left it on the bed.. We've done both left on the bed and dresser.. only the tip on the bed was taken.
