I'm going to begin by telling you what took us to TTR for our first official trip. We celebrated 10 years last September and we knew we wanted to do an all inclusive since we really didn't have a honeymoon. We also determined we didn't want children on the resort. Before we found this forum we had really only known about Golden Parnassus. So we booked it for a week trip and we were really excited. Hubby found the forum and then the Boobs Cruise and we contemplated trying that. Steve was very helpful getting us all the information we needed to get to the resort and on the cruise. Sooo we booked the Boobs Cruise for September. We ended up getting to the resort no issues. Waited at Patio O's by the bar with just the two of us. It only took five minutes and we had some wonderful friends. Did the Boobs Cruise and ended up staying at the resort till the wee hours of the night. Went back to GP and continued our vacation. Next morning we woke up and wanted to go back to TTR, we did just that on a day pass. Spent the entire day there and then decided to get a room. The rest is history, as when we returned from Cancun in September we booked April within 30 days and we knew we wanted to go to TTR. So to begin the report of our first OFFICAL trip to TTR. Saturday arrival day..flight was great and on time. Baggage did take longer then expected (40 minutes) so I feared USA Transfers was not going to be there. Found them with no issues and only had to wait long enough for Butch to buy a beer and for us to meet Matt & Jessica (bigsexymissexy) from the forum. We were escorted to the van and at the resort within 25 minutes. (On a side note if you can book with others that are arriving at the same time from the forum it would be wise. I know Matt and Jessica had to wait quite a bit longer when they could have just rode with us). Arrived at the hotel perfect timing because we only waited for a short moment before we got checked in and bags were taken to our room. We were in room 4201 which was large but further away then we wanted. No big deal we unpacked and were ready to meet some great people and party. Went and had lunch at Margarita's then headed to the pool. Met up with some friends we met in September and the fun began. Drank too much but still managed to attend Red night. Partied with Ron and Dani, Bill and Sandy and I'm sure many others. Grabbed a few couples that were sitting alone to break them in. (I was there once) Finished the night with some Zumba with Dani by the sports pool. Hubby decided I had enough when i accused him of taking my drink when he was only trying to be a gentleman and hold my shoes so he put me to bed. Woke up around 4 am to a broken hot water hose in our room. Yikes, we had a flood and the good Lord was looking down on us because our suitcases managed to stay dry. Our entire floor had water and enough to float flip flops. No worries they moved us the next day because I was in no shape to move at 4 am. Sunday: Woke up and walked carefully on the floor lol and asked when we could be moved. Told us around noon so we grabbed a bite and headed to the pool. Met some more great people. Before we drank too much we decided to see if our room was available and unfortunately it wasn't. No worries why get upset we're on vacation. We ended up going back several times and it still wasn't available until after 3 pm. Oh we'll we moved and no worries back to the pool. Got ready for Cowboy night and had dinner at Margarita's. Had blacken fish it was fantastic and headed to Patio' O's. Great turn out for Cowboy night. Kudos to all the assless chap gentlemen. I was a dancing machine this evening. Even broke out my running man moves. Noah will some day perfect it with me. Had plenty to drink and in bed by 3 am. Hubby says this is getting too long and i need to pay attention to him so I'll continue part two tomorrow.....stay tuned.
Now you are addicted!! I'm glad your stuff didn't get ruined. Last year we had a leak in our room, but it was from the a/c unit. The floor got very slippery but they were quick to fix the problem. Glad you had a good time. Dawn

i feel your pain. that happened to me the last time i wrote one, in december. now I write it in a word doc, then cut and paste it into the forum.
