No information about bad room numbers....however I did read somewhere that the "tower" was a nice place to be booked. Not sure exactly what that means. But as long as I have sun, sand, beer and music I'll be happy.

We are deciding today about this hotel and I read the north tower was nice to view the ocean.

Hope that helps. Didn't read anything about bad rooms.

Sorry guys... no pictures yet of the beach in front of the Tucancun. BUT, it will look like this...

(taken at the Sands on March 20th, just two resorts down)

In fact, the Tucancun is the red brick building in the background.

Will post pix as soon as.

Thanks for the picture so far. It makes me feel better to know they are coming along so well, with the beach.

Since the resort remains closed, there are no returning vacationers from the Tucancun to provide pics and remarks. Best bet is if Steve, Brant or others (maybe even Vic), could swing by and take a quickie pic. Will be harder to get around tho, once the Presidential summit is fully underway.

I understand the hotel remains closed. And any up dates or pics will be greatly appreciated from whom ever can get them. Again thanks to all the folks living in Cancun who passes on all the greatly appreciated info.
