That was us too, and as soon as we got back there was no question where we going back to after our wedding. The atmosphere, the staff and the awesome people will make us repeaters for life!
Amazing how, no matter what time of year you go, (we have gone in Jan., Feb., and Dec.) the guests are the friendliest people in the world. This place is a magnet for people who want to have a great time with other people. The minute you walk in the door, you have a whole resort full of friends.

A little different for us - found Blue Bay at 2 am in 2007 after a few beers. Maui is a 5 hr trip for us from Alaska, Cancun is a 16 hr flight (expensive). But what the hell, decided to try it! We had such a good time, went twice that year and have been going in April ever since. It's the PEOPLE that make it worth the trip. Don't care if we ever go to Hawaii ever again! We have made numerous friends that we have met up with in Vegas and San Francisco and have had come viisit us in Alaska. Had a great time with Sandy Sixt (twinimini) and oh yeah, that Ed guy, haha in Alaska this summer. We're excited about meeting up with our friends for Halloween in a few weeks!
We went 4 years ago....naive and new to all this. Well after 4 years we are really looking forward to this trip. Hope everyone says hello at some point.
