What brought us here? -a few of us coworkers have been dreaming of going on a vacation somewhere tropical whether a hotel or cruise for years and years now. -when my husband and I got married 5 years ago, we went on a cruise to cozumel and liked it, but got bored because there were so many kids overflowing the decks and pools. We said next time we will go to an all inclusive resort with some friends! -a coworker and his wife went to Temptations last july and couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had, so once again a bunch of us (mostly me, lol) looked into it again because this november our shop's inventory week runs into thanksgiving so we have a week and a half off, and I happened apon this forum and kept talking to my best bud and her boyfriend about it and we said "hell with it, let's book it cause you only live once!" Why we came back: -hopefully we will be repeaters! (if I can talk the hubby into it :wink3
What brought me the first time was, good price, no kids at resort, all inclusive, reviews sounded fun What's kept me coming back....the friends I've made, and the friends I haven't met yet. It's awesome you can go there and be yourself and have a blast, I stay in touch with my TTR friends year round because they're awesome. As for Well, y'all have found your way to the Chaos Crew discussion for this year. If you'll notice, it was started the day the first person got back home from last years trip and has been active all year. The week we get back home we're already all talking about the next year's trip
what brought us the first time was a plane and then a shuttle bus. what brings us back each time since is a plane and then USA transfer van.
My husband and I travel a lot .. SOmetimes alone, sometimes with the kids. We have been to many resorts in Cancun and Mexico and have been to all of Caribbean Islands and have stayed in some very stuffy, some very romantic, and some very beautiful resorts.. WIth that being said we have had the best time at TTR... because it truly feels like you are on VACATION! A place to let loose, have fun, and not worry about what anyone else is thinking! Too many of us live in careers where we have to be "a role model of society" ANYTHING goes at TTR and it does! I came here my first time to work.. I taught a fitness class every morning for the resort.. My husband and i had such a great time and such a renewed appreciation for our marriage that we are going back! I can't wait!
woow guys what a way to rub it in me and my partner are going for the very first time 19th march for 11 whole nights. and im already wishing my life away to the day we step on that plane. woop woop even more excited now.ROLL ON 4 MONTHS AND 24 DAYS
Perfect answer... One of the other thing that I love is the all inclusive.. No worrying day to day how much you spent the night before, how much you have left, how high the credit card bills will be when you get home... You know what its going to cost up front, and you don't even have to think about it. It definitely took me 2-3 days to get used to walking around without my keys, wallet, or cell phone though...
Price and the fact that it was adult only brought me the first time. The vibe there has brought me back ever since.
