For dining - wear what you're comfortable in. Buffet - no real dress code other than having a shirt & shoes on. Resort says there is a dress code for dining at the other restaurants but many have not seen this enforced - generally they want men in long pants and closed toe shoes. Women are generally fine in whatever so long as they are covered. Theme nights - with the resort having 350 rooms and the vast majority of folks not on this forum, theme night participation is spotty. Since its advertised on the Temptation website - lingerie night & White night are well received by everyone but even then, maybe half the resort dresses up on those nights. Either way you go - you will not be judged to be 'out of place'. lingerie night - stick to silk boxers, no shirt, and a pair of sandals. Women wear everything that is lingerie - from mild to wild, from revealing to conservative. If it can be found at a lingerie store you will see it. Enjoy your trip!
we came back from our first trip to TTR just over two weeks ago. The first week on lingerie night (to be allowed in the night club - nice shoes), woman had to be in lingerie but men could be in a shirt as long as they had boxers on the bottom half. However, on the second week men had to be topless with the women dressed in lingerie again, there were some men in pj bottoms but dont know if they were allowed in. dress as daring as you want, you wont be out of place
For women, clubwear dresses in Lycra or T-shirt type knits are most common and have the dual benefits of taking up minimal room in the suitcase and not requiring ironing. The irons in the rooms can be a bit dodgy, and the humidity is always high, so leave high-maintenance clothes at home. The one exception might be a nice white linen shirt or white linen pants for guys for White Night...every man looks smashing in white linen
I do not have any white pants, but I do have a white shirt that I was planning on bringing to White Night. And my wife just bought the perfect white dress.
NO, you will not be allowed to enter without white pants. If your caught you'll be cast out! You'll be ridiculed. Unless you strip down & surrender the garment :icon_redface: to proper authorities. Your wife however will be allowed to stay.
