Great advice, this will be our 2nd trip and these are great reminders.....thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Dear ajfun....... You've received some solid advice here........ Just a couple packing hints...... No bathing suit tops No bras No panties Bring the heels....the thigh high boots. Tramp calls them my slut shoes! Ha. We actually bring a third checked bag for my shoes and personal devices that we think might be fun over the course of the week. My one piece of advice is to purchase and bring stuff that makes you say to yourself........."there is no way in hell that i'd ever wear that!"
I find packing for TTR a little more challenging than packing for the family vacay. All of PaulNTina's post is on-point, so here are a few more details: Are you going to pay to check a bag? If so, you get 50 pounds, so might as well use them. "Better to have and not need than to need and not have." (Your departure weight should be about 45 pounds. Humidity and souvenirs will make the bag heavier on your return.) You need three "outfits" for every day you spend on the resort: 1. Bathing suit and something you can throw on over it for lunch 2. Something for dinner (casual for the buffet, dressier for reservation restaurants--equivalent of what you'd wear on a first date with someone you hope to seduce) 3. PatyO's wear--( wear what you wore to dinner or to change into theme or slut wear. Check out the Yandy website--on most nights, about 50 percent of the women are wearing something like you'd get there, usually in the "theme" color; about 40 percent are in a sundress or shorts; and the last 10 percent or so will be in something really daring. ) 4. You'll need one outfit for each excursion you plan to do. I like "multitaskers"--look for a sundress that would work as a swimsuit cover-up or for excursions or for dinner. A pair of sandals comfortable enough for excursions but dressy enough to wear to dinner and PatyO's. A big scarf you can wear as a cover-up by day and a shawl by night. Bring big zip loc bags--some of your stuff will probably still be damp when you come home.
And if you really want to make sure you get the most clothes and shoes in for your trip roll your clothes, if you can't go with out the under wear as lady and tramp suggested roll them and tuck inside the bubba on the trip down. In your shoes or if you're like her and bring boots stuff them with your suit bottoms and underwear. Pack smartly and you'll be amazed what you can get in there. We went the one year with a couple of carry-ons and you'd be surprised what you can get into one of those things if you pack it the right way. We had enough outfits and theme wear for the week just means the theme wear was smaller and the nice thing about doing that we got off the plane through customs and out the door to our USA Transfer driver and on the ride to the resort while others were waiting for their luggage at the carousel
bikini bottoms and some cover-ups (not necessary but some women did) when your walking back to your room. A casual dress or semi formal for dinner time at the fancy restaurants but you can be semi dressed the rest of the time. Saw women wearing see thru tops and rather scantily clothing so it might depend on the restaurant on what is allowed. Don't need a lot of clothing except if your wearing costumes to Paty'Os or a show. If your going off site than more covered is necessary depending on the location. We took way more clothing than needed. My wife was topless most of the time and barely dress most of the rest. Only going to the fancy restaurants did she dress less free (and yes you still could get a good look at her boobs if you tried). It's all what your comfortable with and feel sexy in. Some people are really dress up and other are almost naked - whatever floats your boat! :flash::lotsofmichaelfs:
As a guy, I usually am dressed casual, but nice. Nothing fancy and I am probably wearing flip-flops and shorts in the evening, and a comfy shirt. Some nights that is a tee shirt, and some nights I might have a collar. You get the idea or you can check our profile folder for what I mean. Dress for the theme nights a couple times also! It makes you part of the party and it's a lot of fun! One thing I would HIGHLY recommend as a guy is to try some square cut swimsuits. Stephie and a lot of women LOVE them. If you're used to the typical family beach board shorts it feels a little different at first, but you'll love them quickly too. Just so damn comfortable! I hate going back to the board shorts now. Its the perfect place to try them. I have ordered several from these two companies and they've been great. Very good quality, great fit, and shipping was quick from Australia. Swimwear - aussieBum online store. clothing for men. Wonderjock, Briefs, Hipsters, Jockstraps, Boxers. SWIMWEAR tagged "SWIMWEAR" | Go Softwear / American Jock I prefer the square-cut type with a slightly longer side. I would encourage you to get a couple and give them a try though. Very comfortable and if the ladies like them too, even better! Enjoy your trip! JOhn
