Desire foam parties are in the afternoon. At RM, the foam party is Friday, and at Pearl it is on Saturday. A day pass from one Desire to the other is $150 per couple. We will just miss you - we arrive the following Wednesday.
Honestly, in my opinion a day pass to Desire will not do the place justice. If I had gone on a day pass I would not have fell in love with the place like I did. We went all in.. first visit to Desire was a week and so happy that we did!
Hello! We've been to Temptation (about 6 times? We forget), Desire RM (twice) and Desire Pearl (twice) We love them ALL. Each is better than the others in certain categories, however, they are all excellent resorts. If you are happy with Temptation, you should be fine with either Desire resort. We actually prefer Desire, however it is not as budget-friendly as Temptation. If it would help, here are some reviews (with photos) I posted of some of our visits. We've been to Pearl once for a week, and twice for a Day Pass, and for us it's never been any kind of party vibe of much of any kind -- When compared. I get it, it's smaller, the demographic that goes there is averaging 5-10 years older than DRM, which itself is the same 5-10 years older than the old-TTR. No clue what the actual demographics are at TTR post-reno. Marshe would probably know that. Since the reno was actually begun, Stacia & I've been to DRM 5 times, and each time we've had a great time, but it is different from TTR's vibe of course. Nakedness actually promotes more conversations between people, we've noticed every time as compared to the Sexy Pool at TTR, which is no slouch on getting folks to chit-chat. Pool service around it and at the swim-up bar is light years better at DRM than at either TTR or Pearl. I think they make a real effort to keep at least 3, 4 people working the area most times (2 servers and 2 bartenders). The goofy-teasing stuff at TTR isn't nearly so prevalent with the Playmakers at DRM, and was nonexistent at Pearl our week there. There are some games... but the Playmakers really, really struggle to get people interested in them at DRM.... because people are so into the conversations they've started with these amazing cool new people they've just met! That's interesting, too. Rooms are rooms. The rooms are a bit smaller at DRM than elsewhere, but the rooms amenities are better, so? Fewer people at DRM works out OK as the footprint of the resort is small enough to insure that you are able to find a party group pretty much anytime you want... there's not many places for a party to hide. Agree witht he late night food options in the lobby bar area. Pizza, BLT, and now taco options! Late-night awesome. Almost as good as a old-style Patyo's burger, seriously!
We usually go to DRM. We have 2015,2017,& 2018. 2016 We went to Pearl. The previous resort map is outdated as they now have Desire Suites that are massive and have taken the place of Bldg 1500/1600. They are 2 stories and share a pool. Our first time we stayed in bldg 16 Superior Ocean View, but as I said that bldg is gone now. Since then we have always done a Passion Suite. Hot tub is party place and can go well into the wee hours of the morning. Most will go here after Disco. Theme night participation is hit and miss, but themes are nearly exactly the same as I've seen on TTR site. Lobby bar as previously stated great late night pizza and BLTS. Must haves!! See Danny like others have said, although with a Passion Suite or as a member you get a butler so that should not be a concern as you will always have a pool bed/chair available for you. The lunch place is fully enclosed now, not open to outside elements at all. Men do have to wear pants and closed toe shoes to dinner in restaurants minus Buffet. Make reservations or you will be eating at 900 @ night if you're not careful. We are LS and find that is 60/40 depending in when you there. The party is what you make it so enjoy!!
