We've done split weeks- 4d at TTR and 3d at Desire... gives you the best of both worlds... and no you don't have to be naked 24/7 or are expected to swap... no means no. Although saying yes may be fun also. You tend to get a bit more spoiled at Desire... and the roof-top jacuzzi is a non-stop party....
The Paty'O Bar is open to at least 4am now! And I've had to be rolled up the sidewalk back to my room at least once... note to self- need to get a 1st floor room for the April trip.
Dave and Ellie, We've been 4 times in 2 years. The first time we went out almost every night. Every trip since we have stayed in more. This last one in Feb we never left. The party is there you just gotta get in on it. If you folks don't mind walking up to people who are having a great time and saying hello you'll be fine. If we felt like the sidewalks rolled up we would go elsewhere.:musik026:

We would also say TTR first - then Desire...to relax and wind down as it is a much more laid back take it easy kinda place (as much as you want it to be anyway)! One thing you may want to check on....the Disco at Desire was closed when we were there (in March) for renovations. They were working feverishly on it, but didn't know when it was expected to be completed. The pics they posted at the construction site looked like it will be amazing! The construction was in no way a hinderance to enjoying the resort, and the "disco" was moved to a different area, but it was a temporary setup that wasn't so great in bad weather. And as said previously...you will be spoiled at Desire! Although we found the staff and service to be awesome at TTR...at Desire (maybe 'cause it's much smaller) we found the service and staff to be much more attentive and friendly. Enjoy your getaway!!
We went to Desire first once then to Temptations but after 4 days switched back Desire. This time we have Temptation before and after - The Desire cost is just too much for us this year as we are remodelling the house. Sure Temptations will be just fine. Last Night we watch some video recordings from 1998 - 2002 of BBG as it was. Oh those were the days. Disco will open 30th March so we have been told! Yahoo when we arrive to christen it....
We had a great time at TTR last year and there is always something to do after the disco... This year we are going to cap off our week at TTR with a 3 night stay at Desires so we hope it lives up to its reputation. Glad to finally hear the disco will be in place for March 30th...
