This sounds like a great idea. I dont usually get hangovers but I dont want to take the chance. And thanks for clearing up the wipes thing I was getting a little worried about what I was getting us into.
I swear by the pedialyte-type powders but got sick of paying for it and looked into how to mix my own since salt and sugar ain't exactly pricy. So now I mix a bag of nondescript white powder for the trip down, and so far no trouble with customs... :blueshock: Other than salt and sugar, the most important ingredient is potassium, and you can get a big 'ol bottle on Amazon for $5 or so. So, the top secret recipe. Per serving: 2T sugar 1/2t salt 2t potassium powder Mix with 1/2L or so of water, add a few drops of flavor drops (with caffeine for bonus hangover cure) I mix up about 30 servings for a week and we have some at night, in the morning, whenever.
We drink them just before bed. I was unsure about the five hour energy shots as well as I take a handful of vitamins and supliments everyday myself. But we tried the five hour shots early in the evening and occasionally one in the afternoon and found them to work great.
I would have loved to have seen your luggage last year Ryan. 30 pounds of jello wrestling powder, 30 little single serving homemade packets of white powder, some swim suits and a couple pairs of pants.
White powder would be fun with Customs, on that note is the girl out of jail yet for having those homeopathic powders in her luggage ?(Acapulco I think )
You can safely take 2 five hour energies per 24 hour period (since b vitamins are toxic in large doses). What we do is figure out what time we are going to bed (ie 3am for example, we will take one at 5 pm and another at 10pm the night of. No hangover this way.
