We had the same comment yesterday and it looks just as quiet today… curious to see later in the week how busy it will be… … still wish we were there!
Not to nuts about this. Yeah you cant make anyone out but it just seems there is an incremental movement towards losing any sense of privacy or illusiveness about the resort. I like the feeling that we were experiencing something no one else knew about and you couldn’t see unless you went there. This kind of feel like it takes that away some of the illusiveness away. I did however find were that flip flop I lost 2 weeks ago went
I watched Monday, I was looking for them, but could not really tell if they unloaded or not. I think Steve had mentioned that they are not allowed to fly their flags and other things now. I hope to be watching from 4 to 5 pm their time, friday.
I don't think anyone should have any worries about this. Here is a portion of the pic without zoom here is the same pic at approx 8X zoom
I get that you can’t make anyone out, and I usually think complaints are overblown. However, balcony shows are a real thing, and you can actually see into, although not clearly some of the rooms on the Tower. That’s really my only point. Expectation of privacy is less out in the resort, but in your room, that’s different. To me, it’s also just a small mention, wouldn’t stop me from doing anything if I had one of those rooms.
Zooming into a low quality image just makes the garbage larger. If the pixels are not there they are not there. I've checked it a couple of times and I would also guess they are running a slight pixel shift filter on the image to distort any fine detail. If you look at the roof lines, the area behind the pool bar, and towel stripes they are all a little fuzzy. Still not sure it's a great idea but you'll never use this to identify everyone. I'm just worried there are a lot of people who are not going to understand the difference form a low quality web-cam from a roof and their 1080p live-stream.
