Would like to add a couple more nights for our trip in April, but the price has gotten ridiculously high this close to our date. This is when I could see someone taking advantage of a member referral, after the online price has skyrocketed.
For us, we have to factor in the price of flights too. Canadians get way, way better package deals. If I can get the hotel and flights for $1500 for a week, it doesn't make any sense to buy premium and still have to pay $800 per person for the flight alone.
No the price are freakin messed up right now . Here when we check online it's all 100 % book. So they're a bug in their system right now .. my firend did want to book but them the resort is '' full ''
I want to go 23 times. That's got to be a record. I'm so jealous this April will be our 2 time in three years.
On Expedia right now running at 208@ night when you book the flight too or about 175 USD Dates checked 9 to 20 April,
Yesterday everythibg was book and for 5 days was 1600 $ on redtag. Alpharoom 257/night. It may be back to normal now
When we were there last year, someone showed us a trick that he had discovered accidentally. His red band was on loose enough that it "accidentally" got twisted around. Guess what! It is white on the backside. He didn't realize it, until a waiter pointed out that he qualified for the top shelf liquor at the restaurant. I didn't have the guts to try it myself, but he kept his band inside out for the rest of the trip and got treated like a premier member. LOL
Original Resorts is just a company trying to make a profit. That's why the push to make sales. Temptations lets them work at the resort and TTR gets something out of it too. They make money off people who don't use their contract. That's why they try to get excited first timers to commit to six weeks a year for 25 years knowing %90 will never use what they paid for. They don't come after you for collections so even if you stop paying on your contract they still made some money. And you can still always go as a regular guest even after your contract is cancelled.
