Trying to explain this resort to vanilla people...

Do they then ask if you have any pictures? You know, just so they can see what they would be getting themselves into?

 

We've just gone and told people the truth it's spring break for adults. No kids to worry about, adult themes, topless optional and have left it at that. Funny thing is a Scuba Steve has pointed out there's a lot of guys saying my wife would never go for that but they have her talk to us and she thinks the same thing and then a little bit later she'll ask about it again. Then maybe a few weeks go by and she'll hit us up for a few more little bits of info and after a bit she's gone from the not a chance list to the I'm thinking about it list. Which is a little closer to the hey would you mind if we tagged along then the first answer. One day they just might book

 

People at work are wondering why I am hitting the gym so hard and lose weight, I tell truthfully we are going to a topless resort and I want to take my shirt off at the pool.

I know I've said this multiple times before, but I still don't get how Temptation is at all scandalous to anyone. We just tell people that we're going to Temptation in Cancun, if they even ask, and tell them its an adults only party resort, 21+ and topless optional in some areas.
I never get any sort of reaction from anyone. I guess with the way I look, no one would ever expect me to be vanilla and I don't attract any sort of vanilla friends either, so your world and needing to lie about Temptation is a complete mystery to me that I will never understand!
As a side note, maybe it would help some people if you called it by its real name?...Temptation Resort & Spa...so may people say 'Temptations' with that extra s added on for no reason, which does make it sound really stupid and probably draws more questions about what kind of place it is. Temptations was a vocal group popular in the 60's and 70's known for their hit, 'My girl', NOT a resort! Lol!

I don't explain myself to anyone.. I tell them Temptation.. and it's adult only! No kiddies!!! Most people are just jealous that all our vacations are at an adult only resort!

 

I tell them like it is - Their approval of my vacation is not required but it does keep those vanilla people from coming over to use my hot tub most of the time.

 

We just booked our 1st trip for Sept 2016! This is our 1st post too so the topic is something that will come up. If anyone asks were going to say its an adults only resort with no kids allowed. It might be a little interesting seeing the reaction, but that's for them to comprehend. We just know were looking forward to the trip and the fun in the sun.

 

Temptations is also a Peeler joint on Bourbon Street 2.5 blocks from Canal St. In NoLa.
Never understood why ppl call the Resort in Cancun Temptation (s).
But it does say something, when they do
