Trying to explain this resort to vanilla people...

Depends on who I'm talking to. Usually I say it's like spring break for very naughty grown ups. Most people get the hint from that.

 

Those that can handle the truth...We say Temptation! Try it for a week on one of our Referrals.

Those that can't, we say, We are going to 'OUR' place in Cancun and 'NO you wouldn't like it.'

 

Kinda reminds me when people find out I wear kilts in public, they immediately think I am flashing people and showing off mine bigger than yours. Yes I have lost jobs over wearing kilts but I do it anyways. I am proud to go to an actual ADULT resort and not worried about what people are saying when I strut pass them. Give me a double shot of Fireball and let me see your boobs

We got married at a Riu resort in Jamaica, so we just say since we had a good time there we stay at one in Cancun. When people want details I just tell them we got hammered at the pool all day:

Them:How was the resort?
Me:Nice.

Them:What'd you guys do the whole time?
Me:We just got hammered at the pool all day?

Them:Did you guys do any excursions?
Me:No, we we're too preoccupied getting hammered at the pool all day.

Them:How was the food?
Me: Well...I had bacon in the morning. That was good. Then we went and got hammered at the pool all day. They didn't have any food in the pool. I think I had some guacamole later on in the evening one of the days. That was pretty good too. Great guac they have at Riu I tell ya.

This is when they learn I have a drinking problem and look at me with sad eyes and change the topic.

Vanilla Friends and family get the name of some other resort. There is no need to make things awkward for either side .

Close friends who know us hear what it is- Spring Break for adults, and hear more about what goes on at the result, as well as disspelling any myths they have.

Bottom line-what you divulge should depend on how vanilla and/or close the friends are. And don't feel bad for lying and telling them you went to a different resort if the situation calls for it. Trust me- there are things they do that they won't share with you as well...

 

Ages at Resort

We are a couple thinking ofTemptation in the June month.We also are in our 60's but not dead.Have had fun in past at hedo and Fantasy fest.Will webe out of place here.Thanks for reply..
