thanks Tom (and Roz of course!) - we did have a giggle didn't we. To say we are getting excited for next May is probably the biggest understatement I could make without saying to you guys "across the pond" - "that Michael Jordan is quite good at basketball isn't he? - if he tries hard he could do that for a living"!!

 

Man I really enjoyed reading that report, it's obvious you had a great time!

Make sure you go and get about 168 hours of uninterrrupted sleep, you've earned it!

Very well written, you had me laughing a few times. Nice to hear you've been bitten by the TTR bug like the rest of us. I noticed you touched on the only negative we had this year about TTR . . . The music at the Patty "O" Bar.

This was our 12th year going to our home away from home, and the new "Music turned up to the Max" at the Paty "O" caused us to cut many nights short. We complained several times to night management and the general manager, they said they were "working on fixing that". In the past Patty "O" was the bar to socialize at with backgrond music, loud enough to dance to, but soft enough to hold conversations with people you have met during the day. For some reason they now try to have louder music than Coco Bongo, lol. Sounds like this should be a new thread "petition to turn down the Patty "O" music, LOL.

well the music was kind of repetitive to say the least! It felt like the DJ had been given two Party Mix tapes for his birthday and he just wanted to play them over and over!

I'm thinking that if we all took a cd with us next time of music we really loved and gave them to the DJ not only will he think all his birthdays have come at once but we might, just might, get some variety in the music!!

But anyone who has seen my photos will see that Deb really enjoyed the "buzz" off of the bass bins though (once Jamie dragged her there!)
