    This is looking a little worrying for Cancun again.

    Now a named, tropical storm, "Richard," it's predicted to reach hurricane strength in two days or so. With the water temps dropping, it may fizzle, just like the last one did, though.

    The mid-Atlantic hurricane season appears well dead, with just those storms which form in the Caribbean being of any threat, now.

    I guess the good news is that it won't hit land til Monday... so the weekend *might* be nice.

    And like the previous ones, the tendency is southward so hopefully it will affect us as much as Paula did which is to say not at all.
