Our first experience at TTR was in Cabo a few yrs back, we enjoyed it enough to join the Premier membership and went a few times before they decided to convert to a Desire format. They were generous enough to let us try this format at TTR prices and we did enjoy it enough to stay members. Unfortunately many were upset with the change and occupancy was quite low for many months, surprisingly with the short hop from SD and LA. Any time a resort changes hands or format, there will probably be a 8-12 month feeling out period to get the staff and former visitors accustomed to the change. We were told that GOV would be more of a "Desire light" and thought about booking, looks like we may wait til springtime next year if the reviews are promising. For now we will try TTR Cancun and the only thing we can complain about is the airfare from the West Coast.
