Well, this vacation was different from the other trips; we felt that it was more relaxing and not as wild and crazy as before, The new entertainment staff is very nice and sociable, we felt they needed to be a bit more outgoing, more spunkier, looks like they are afraid of taking the next step (except "T"). The employees weren't smiling at all, but the new general manager told us that he was going to make changes, somewhat like BBG used to be. We actually saw a few right away. With just a few that we witness, the employees were smiling again. They are able to joke around with the guest. Besides that, we had a great time. We hung out with alot of new people, and quiet alot of repeaters were there. As you will see in our photos. Some added bonus: The new girl (Donna), she's the one that takes care of the premier members by the new section on the beach and around the sexy pool. For non-members there is Veronica, also excellent. (Without the roller blades) Mini Fridge in the rooms stocked with sodas, beer and water WII game at the Alternative Bar New color beach towels for members More lounge chairs for around the pool Beach Volleyball in the evening (1 night a week) The Band by the Paty'Os Bar (1 night a week) The new electronic key to the rooms On the down side: They did away with the decorative towel art in the rooms The good brand liquor was scarce in most of the bars. The background music in the restaurants "suck" The old entertainment staff (Lalo, Chino and Omar), no offense to the new staff, we liked them alot. The low-key atmosphere they have going on Gym: No basket for the hand towels, no exercise mats Need more signs for area location (i.e. Water sports, gym, etc) This is for the smokers: Cancun’s new law like in most states is no longer allowing smoking in enclosed places, hotels are no exceptions, therefore, no smoking in the rooms, bars (except the outside ones). Anyone interested in catching a game on TV we recommend - The Outback, they have a back bar that allows smoking. This TR is based solely on a personal opinion and experience. Great trip report! Loved the pic's! I really wish we could have been there this time, we miss you guy's! It's been too long. :cry: I was looking at prices for Feb. last night and WOW!! :shock: :shock: Never say never though, and then of course there's May! Enjoyed the TR and the great pics. Kind of hard seeing Omar and Lalo knowing that they are not at TTR. I had not seen any pics of Nickey.........very nice!!

Oliver and Pablo are the best bartenders in our opinion! Looks like you had great times with Oliver! We call him "Welcome to Alaska Guy!" When we were there last Jan. we had a few chilly days to bear with, and he was hilarious. He even kept our drinks coming when a big group of us went inside and played a silly "spin the bottle" game! Perhaps one day Oliver will live close to us....he told us he is planning on moving to San Fransisco in a few years! Thanks again for sharing all those pictures with subtitles! Great!!!!!!!

Sure hope others follow your lead....seems like you got to know a secret handshake to see the good pics on other TR's.
