Wednesday May 14th Well, let’s start this trip report with the crappy beginning of an absolutely wonderful trip. We were due to leave the CR airport at 7:00am, however due to congested airspace in Chicago our initial flight was delayed 1 ½ hours, which ended up being only 1 hour. We quickly rearranged our itinerary knowing that 1 ½ hours would definitely cause us to miss our connecting flight at 9:00am. We arrived in Chicago at 9:10am only to find that the 9:00am connection had left at 8:42am. Fortunately our rearrangement put us on a connection to Miami at 11:50am, which gave is plenty of time to enjoy the Chicago airport. Lou (a fantastic bartender) provided the first Bloody Mary of the day and things were looking up…but we were destined to land in Cancun at 6:30pm versus the original schedule of 12:30pm…damn, one half day gone – AIRLINES SUCK!!! Well, day one ended with us getting into Cancun at 6:30pm. We had our luggage hand checked twice (that never happens). We met some friends of ours on the same delayed flight; however their luggage wasn’t so lucky. We wished them the best knowing we needed to get to our Nirvana (they were headed to Riviera Maya). Our airport transportation was no where to be found, so we paid $60 for a shuttle and a driver who did not speak English and had no idea where Temptations was even located. Thankfully, we arrived at Temptations at 8:00pm SAFELY. Check-in with Lilia was a breeze. NO issues. Got to our room and for the first time observed the renovations. We would have liked to be closer to the Sexy Pool and Restaurants and even put our names in for a transfer early the next morning, but we decided to unpack and get settled in our room. Our view overlooked the ocean and the resort to our left (which was not as bad as we originally thought in the dark). The full length mirror above the full length counter was AWESOME. We had shelves galore to store clothing in addition to a dresser with 3 deep drawers. Bob’s comment was we could put three - 6’0” females head to toe on the counter…NICE. Unpack, head to the buffet, got some food (which was a step above what we had encountered in our previous 5 trips). Then off to Nice Shoes for the Latin Dancers. All in all a very nice “Vegas” type show to observe. We didn’t meet anyone from CC on day one; however we did see a few of them in the audience. Only complaint…Nice Shoes, although NICE it’s VERY HOT. Alfredo (from the staff) was AWESOME when it came to making sure we had cold drinks all night long. Thursday May 15th We’ll make this shorter… Shiela and Bob LOST at horseshoes. Bob had a little SPF 50 mishap, but would recover later in the week by using SPF 4. Bob entered the Belly Flop Contest only to finish 3rd to Ray (2nd) and Jeff (1st) the Mohican. We attended PJ & Casino night where Shiela and Louisa helped each other out with matching outfits…trust us, two - 6’0” females in neon pink and green can turn a room full of heads whether in NICE SHOES or elsewhere. Friday May 16th Due to the massive migration of repeaters on Saturday, ALL Saturday games were moved to FRIDAY. Shiela wore her Saturday suit…UMMMMMMMMM…we’ll TRY to post some pictures that will not be censored. Chinos and Lalo enjoyed their share of a Friday body shot. TEQUILLA VOLLEYBALL…need we say more. (Lalo vs. T – Lalo wins – which means Shiela and Bob are safe) Sergio’s BOOZE CRUISE – like Shiela and Bob needed more alcohol. Bob knew he was done when he was being served Corona in QUART bottles instead of an 8 oz glasses. Needless to say the remainder of the night was a BLUR (I LOVE MY WIFE). We did however meet Dan & Amy from KC who are AMAZING. Saturday May 17th We spent the majority of the day spent by the SEXY POOL. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the Buffet… NICE SHOES had male and female CLUB dancers. TIGHT…nothing better to explain the demonstration…these DANCERS were FANTASTIC. The remainder of the night? CENSORED ;-) Sunday May 18th We spent the majority of the morning spent by the SEXY POOL. Bart and Annette were nice enough to invite us to join a group of 12 for a 4 hour yacht cruise – If you have not enjoyed the experience WE suggest you do. North Beach Isla Mujeres is PHENOMINAL as is a yacht with SOOOOOO many sets of headlights. On our return trip the navigation team of Shiela and Mignon were TERRIFIC. Don’t want to let the cat out of the bag, but we’ve heard the Monday yacht trip had plenty of “poles and bobbers” for your viewing pleasure as well. NICE SHOES, Bob did his own demonstration on the POLE – thong included. Monday May 19th We spent the majority of the day spent by the SEXY POOL. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the Buffet… Bob finished 2nd in 2008 Mr. Temptations Contest next to Jamie from Wales. Human sundae notables go to Shiela, Monique and Kathy. Tuesday May 20th Said our goodbye as this was our return home day. NOTE: watch out for an interesting swimsuit when losing contests going forward. Fantastic - Sheila - love the but about your saturday bathing suit!! I saw one of those in 2006 - (well what there was of it.) How impressive though - gotta have a bod like yours hun to do it justice!! Max xxxxxx
Great seeing you again at TTR, and enjoyed your TR. We were just there for the weekend, however the group at TTR last weekend was about as good as it gets. Great weather also. Glad that you were part of the group on the yacht group, and we will do that again. You two are a great couple, and hope we see you again at TTR. AB did enjoy Bob's dancing at Nice Shoes. First time that I have heard her say "Nice Shoes"
Hi Sheila and Bob, I had such a blast on the yacht ride. You guys are awesome and John and I look forward to when you come out to Vegas. We really do want to go out to dinner with you. I hope to post my report within a few days.
Great TR Bob and Shelia, It was great seeing you two as always. I plead the 5th on the Monday yacht cruise!!! Hope to see you both in September!!
