The whole Premier pitch at check-in is just entertaining for us now, we always make an appointment just to see Ricardo's reaction when he sees us. He just throw's up his hands and says "you know I have nothing else to sell you why do you keep making appointments!!" (It's quicker and less irritating to just say OK at check in and Ricardo is is a fun guy Maybe we'll talk him into a penthouse contract one of these days ...lol
Nice review. Just as an observation, Ive been noticing for some time, while perusing the various TTR groups on Facebook, that based on the pics people are posting, the demographics at TTR are certainly changing. Im seeing way more young ( I mean like really young) couples than I ever have since we've been going. Not saying its a bad thing, but its only natural that the younger the crowd gets, the more the resort will cater to that audience, which I still think was the objective after the remodel.
You are not imagining this and it is not because you are getting older! TTR is definitely marketing to a younger and younger (yes, 21 year olds) and with some of the recent deals it is affordable as well a good deal for them. When prices raise less will visit. Just think about it, hook them young, and than sell them over and over again over their long lifetime. Hook a 50 year old and there is only so many resells if any at all. Plus recall, yes as a member you give them cash to only have the ability to pay to use it at a reduced rack rate and some perks! More years and more uses as well as upselling makes sense...for them.
I know. I'm slow. But, it's negative news, and there's more than enough of that on all media channels right now. I don't need to add to it until after the election. Spoiler Alert: Don't reserve the Seduction Ocean Front Suite unless you are paying less than $225/night. Otherwise, you'll be upset. There, Restling, I did my duty. More detail to follow. ... eventually.
I expect you to win that challenge. I'll eventually do that spotlight review on the SOFS, but as stated, it'll be a bummer, but advisory. I have a feeling that the Tower Master Suites would totally kick the crap out of the Seduction ones...
