Trip report from first-timers who just got back from TTR

Enjoyed your TR...we REALLY need a Cancun getaway and the sooner the better...adults-only AI's are our favorites...who knows? We might end up at Temptations someday...

Hey all (it's Ryan this time) - Glad Jess' review is such a hit - we really wanted to try to clear up all the questions and worries we had before we went. Obviously we loved it and can't wait to get back.

As for our room, it was oceanview, and we had a pretty full view of the ocean... right over the top of the sexy pool :clappyinghappy:. But yeah, I'm not sure how you would go about getting a classic full-oceanview room if you didn't want to see all those damn nekkid people! :huh:

As for booking websites (it seems to be OK to list them here, so here goes), I really like resortcompete (and sister site cruisecompete). You put in when are where you want to go, and get replies from travel agents with offers. Whenever I've used it, the best price I've gotten has beaten the best price I've found anywhere else.

 

Thank you all for the suggestions on the booking sites. How is the beach at TTR?

 

Beach is lots better than before hurricane Wilma. Bigger, you won't see waves rolling in though. Women's island blocks that. It's still nice, crystal blue water beautiful!:icon_biggrin:

thanks for the report! I was wondering about having to leave the resort for a good time at night. i just read that the hotel?? brings you to clubs? is that right?

 

Yup every night to a different club. usually between $40-50 n the drinks are all included

 

Per person or per couple? What time do clubs close?

 

per person. Clubs close really late, sometimes til 6-7am

 

Thank for the reply! Clubbing until 6 or 7am! Sweeeet! I'm guessing the busses don't stick around all night we would have to cab it?
